Fur is the hardest thing to cut out cleanly
Loose strands, whiskers, and fluffy ears trip up any automatic background remover — Korpiss included. It's normal for the outline to come out a little too straight or "shaved" around long-haired animals, especially in photos where the background color is close to the animal's coat.
When that happens, use the tool's manual adjustment brush (available once the automatic cutout finishes) to erase leftover background or bring back tufts of fur the model trimmed by mistake. You can zoom in and work pixel by pixel right along the edge — no need to reprocess the whole image. Photos with good light and a contrasting background (for example, a light-colored dog against a dark backdrop) tend to come out nearly perfect on the very first pass, so if you're photographing your pet specifically for this, that contrast is worth setting up in advance.

What format does the final file come out in?

Does it work with more than one pet in the same photo?
Yes. The model treats the whole foreground as one subject, so if you've got a dog and a cat together in the same shot, both come out cut out together, without being separated from each other.
Does my pet's photo get stored on a server anywhere?

Does the cutout work well on cat photos too, not just dogs?
Just as well. The model wasn't trained on dogs specifically — it recognizes the outline of pretty much any pet, cats included. What actually affects the result isn't the species, it's the coat: a short-haired cat usually comes out clean on the first pass, while a fluffy Persian or a shaggy mixed-breed dog might need a touch-up, but the adjustment brush handles either case just fine.
What if my pet is mid-motion or slightly blurry in the photo?
A sharp photo always gives the cleanest edges — motion blur softens the boundary between fur and background, which can make the model round off whiskers or wispy fur. If your pet won't sit still, a faster shutter speed (or just more light) usually solves it before you even get to cutting the background out.
